de la Vela is a magical place that features beautiful, peaceful, and
paradise-like beaches. The local culture is present everywhere, showcasing
Wayuu customs and traditional gastronomy. The Pilón de Azúcar stands as a
hill that offers a stunning view, where you can see the wind farm and the
Cerrejón ship port in the distance. Along the way, you can appreciate the
sand dunes formed by air currents. Without a doubt, an unforgettable trip.  |

Visit
the rancherias where they live in communities and learn about their culture
as goat herders. You can see how they weave mochilas (bags), make hats,
chinchorros (hammocks), and traditional footwear. Also, discover the salt
mound in Manaure and its salt ponds, where salt is extracted once the water
solidifies.  |
